2025 Season at a Glance
- Ages: 8-9
- Birth Years: 2016-2017
- Date/Time: Tuesday & Wednesday, 6:30pm (6pm starting
August 1) - Duration: 1 hour practice / 1.5 hours game
- Frequency: 2x per week (1 practice, 1 game) after Opening Day
- Approximate # of Players per Team: 12
- Key Rules:
- 11 fielders
- 5 pitches (unless foul)
- No advancing on overthrows
- No leadoffs/no stealing
- Season: June 2 - August 21
- Playoffs: September 2 - September 21
- Championship Day: September 14
Division Facts
- Emphasis on teamwork, fair play, sportsmanship, having fun and learning how to play the game!
- Each team led by 2-3 co-coaches, who set the game lineups and run the practices.
- All kids take turns playing the different positions, and bat equally in each game.
- Kids hit off a pitching machine.
- Practice and games are on two different days, allowing for more practice and longer games.
- Scores and standings are kept - all teams will qualify
for playoffs at the end of the season. - Parents are encouraged to become actively involved with overall team duties

About Thornhill Baseball Club
Thornhill Baseball Club is a not-for-profit community service volunteer organization. Founded in 1985, the Club has served and continues to serve, the residents of Thornhill (both within the City of Vaughan & the City of Markham) as the hub for community baseball. Over the past 35 years, the club has provided programing to well over 25,000 individuals.
