2026 House League Spring Training Baseball Training Academy

Hello Thornhill Baseball Families

As a reminder, Saturday May 16th (this week) and during the week of May 18th (next week), we are running our Spring Training Baseball Training Academy. This program includes players in each of our 6 divisions coming out to participate in clinics run by some of Thornhill Baseball’s most experienced coaches. These clinics are included in your house league registration. UPDATE FOR 2026

During the week of May 25th Thornhill Baseball’s 2026 House League Season will start. This week is focused on team practices. The specific schedule for team practices is now available through Team Snap, except 15/18U which will be available shortly.  As you will see all practices/games are booked on the following days. 

5U Monday

7U Thursday

9U Tuesday or Wednesday

11U Monday or Wednesday

13U Tuesday or Thursday

15U/18U Monday, Tuesday or Thursday

Sunday May 31st, is Thornhill Baseball’s Opening Day and photo day. Your game time is available in Team Snap, your team photo time will be published next week in Team Snap. Team photos will be scheduled near game times.

TEAM SNAP

If you have not done so already, please download TeamSnap (our leagues sports management platform) onto your phone (TeamSnap on the Apple Store or TeamSnap on the Google Play Store) or computer (https://go.teamsnap.com). From there, please login using the email address you registered with. Once downloaded, you will be able to see your player’s TeamSnap team page, which will include such information as: coaches name, team roster and schedule.

 UNIFORMS 

Coaches will distribute uniforms to all players: jerseys, pants and hats at your 1st practice. If pants do not fit, please hold on to them and make sure your child doesn’t wear them. We will send out more info about a pants exchange which will take place on Opening Day May 31st. 

EQUIPMENT

Please ensure your child comes to all practices and games with all of the required equipment. Please visit the Thornhill Baseball website to see a list of required equipment by division (https://thornhillbaseball.net/programs/house-league/).

RAIN POLICY

During the season, Thornhill Baseball will communicate by email, by 4:30 pm, if baseball events are not happening due to rain, field conditions, air quality concerns, etc. In the absence of any email, please assume events are a “Go”.
